Tehama County Jail

DESCRIPTION: The County received SB863 funds to construct a new facility adjacent to the existing Tehama County Jail. The project will consist of the design and construction of new adult detention housing units to accommodate 64 inmate beds. The new jail facility will be approximately 22,000 square feet of building space, located just west of the main jail. Low voltage security electronics system design consists of a touchscreen/PLC based door control, closed circuit television (CCTV), digital intercom and paging, access control, and uninterruptible power supply systems. The access control and CCTV system are integrated with the existing campus systems for continuity between facilities.
