Available Position: Electrical Engineer

Description: Primary responsibilities include creating electrical designs for facilities and campuses specifically for the following systems: Lighting; Power including normal and emergency power systems (NEC 517, 700/701 and 702); Communications, including data/telephone, intercom and paging systems; Security systems including access control and CCTV; Nurse Call; Fire Detection and Alarm including Mass Notification.

Responsibilities include performing system calculations, drawing production, specification editing, and construction cost estimating. Duties include performing engineering assignments exercising judgment in evaluation, selection, and modification of existing and new systems. The position includes making decisions on design and engineering procedures and depending on experience, may supervise staff of professionals and technicians.

Requirements: BS in Electrical Engineering, with an EIT. PE is preferred. The candidate must have a minimum of 10 year’s experience in electrical system (electrical lighting/power/systems) design of buildings and be willing to travel up to 10 percent of the time.
Location: Remote Work or Spokane Office.

The candidate must have computer skills in Revit, AutoCAD, electrical design software, and MS Office, and must have previous experience with an architectural/engineering or engineering consulting firm.

Low Voltage Engineer

Description: Primary responsibilities include creating low voltage electrical designs for facilities and campuses specifically for the following systems: Communications, including data/telephone; intercom and paging systems; Security systems including access control, closed circuit television (CCTV), and door control utilizing PLC hardware and HMI software; Nurse Call; Fire Detection and Alarm including Mass Notification.

Responsibilities include performing system calculations, drawing production, specification editing, and construction cost estimating. Duties include performing engineering assignments exercising judgment in evaluation, selection, and modification of existing and new systems. The position includes making decisions on design and engineering procedures and depending on experience, may supervise staff of professionals and technicians.
